African International (APSP) Flag Button Pins

The flag of the African People's Socialist Party (known internationally as the African Socialist International) was adopted at the first congress of the African People's Socialist Party in 1981.

The Red, Black and Green are from the flag adopted by Marcus Garvey's Universal Negro Improvement Association in 1920. Red for our blood and the people who have also shed blood for our struggle for freedom. Black for African people. Green for the land of Africa. In 1981, the APSP added the red star for Internationalism.

The APSP flag represents our Party but it also represents our theory of African Internationalism that you can take out into the world.
